Jewish Cemetery Chernivtsi

Chernivtsi Jewish Cemetery contains a large number of war graves, including Austro-Hungarian soldiers who fell in the First World War.

There is also a mass grave here:
- 695 Romanian soldiers who died during the Second World War.
- More than 400 Romanian civilian victims buried. They were executed by the NKVD in 1941.

The Jewish cemetery also contains graves of Holocaust victims. They were murdered in 1941.
