Memorial Utah Congressional Gold Medal

At the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park there is a monument that commemorates the fact that on November 2, 2011, the Congressional Gold Medal was awarded to the 100th Infantry Battalion, the 442nd regimental combat team and the Military Intelligence Service and consisted of Japanese Americans.
These units are among the most decorated units in the United States Army during World War II.
