Ketrzyn Wilamowo Airport

There is an airfield here that was built by the Germans during the Second World War. The airport is close to the "Wolfsschanze". This was a German headquarters and was built for the Wehrmacht's 1941 offensive against the Soviet Union.

The airport was also the base for Hitler's private plane.

After the Soviet army captured the airport in 1945, they put it into use.
