Dutch Monument Theresienstadt

This memorial commemorates the approximately 5,000 Jews who were deported by the Nazis from the Netherlands to the Theresienstadt ghetto starting in 1943. Some were housed in the Hamburg Barracks. Some died in Theresienstadt, others were deported from here and murdered in another (extermination) camp. There were also survivors.
