Memorial Free French Army and the Resistance

This pink stone monument was erected for those who had to flee France during the Nazi occupation and in honour of the members of the Free French Army and the French Resistance who helped them do so.

The monument features a cross of Lorraine and the text:

"Aux évadés de France
Aux F.F.L a la Resistance".

The cross of Lorraine belonged to General De Gaulle's Free French Forces during World War II.
