Memorial of Executed Resistance Fighters Ferme des Roses

Commemorative plaque in memory of FIZAINE Louis, FONTAINE Pierre and MARON Louis, members of the resistance group "La Ferme des Roses". They were accused of sabotage and shot by the Germans in the Citadel of Liège in 1944.
These resistance fighters were recruited by QUINOT Louis, Reserve Officer of the Chasseurs Ardennais and head of the Secret Army in Florenville. He was deported to Neuengamme on 30 August 1944 and died in the Hamburg probably in March 1945.
