The memorial is a stone cross on a plinth with a crossed sword and rifle cross on the front of the cross and a dove in a wreath on the front of the base. It was made by Joseph James Broster. It was designed by Percy Hodgkinson of Kerridge.
The Kerridge War Memorial Committee organises an annual parade and service on the second Sunday in July to commemorate the fallen.
The names of all the men from Kerridge who gave their lives in the First World War are engraved on the memorial.
The names of those who lost their lives in the Second World War were added later.
