Fort d'Emines
Fort d'Emines was built between 1888 and 1892. The structure is made entirely of unreinforced concrete, which was quite unusual at the time. The fort was heavily bombed during the First World War. Two bunkers were built on the fort between 1939 and 1940.
The fort is located at an altitude of 190 m and 4,8 km from the city of Namur. The distance between the fort of Suarlée is 4,2 km and between the fort of Cognolée 3,8 km.
