Museum Switchback Oostburg

The Switchback war museum is located on the edge of the center of Oostburg. The life work of Erik Adriaansen. From an early age he started collecting all kinds of objects from the Second World War and the collection grew steadily. The museum first opened its doors in 1995. The museum is named after the code name of the Canadian military operation to liberate West Zeeland Flanders in October 1944: "Operation Switch Back".
