German 10.5 cm leFH 18 Gun Habloville

This German 10.5 cm leFH 18 gun is standing next to the war memorial of Habloville and is in memory of the heavy fighting for this village in August 1944. The 10.SS-Panzer-Division "Frundsberg" defended this village against the Allied forces to hold an opening for the encircled German forces in the 'Falaise pocket'. Habloville was liberated on 18 August 1944.
