The memorial of Detachment Marttina is located in Jämäs, in the yard of the former Frontier Guard barracks. The memorial was unveiled by the brothers-in-arms of Detachment Marttina on 1 January 1970. It was designed by artist Juhani Vepsäläinen. The memorial was made by voluntary work from local wartime anti-tank obstacle stones.
The text on one of the stone states: “During the years 1941-1944 Long-Range Patrol Marttina performed 74 operations behind enemy lines. Their sacrifice to their country should be an obligation to future generations: brothers-in arms and lottas”. Another stone lists the names of those who did not return from the operations.
