Bunkers East Battery Terschelling

In the dunes north of Oosterend was a mess building camouflaged as a farm that belonged to the bunker complex of the German East Battery. After the war, it housed the Schellingerland biological testing station. No traces of the building can be found anymore, but in the dunes there are still some concrete and red-brick bunkers of the Oostbatterij (mostly bricked up) and/or hidden under the sand.
