Memorial Castries

This memorial is in memory of Emile Granier who was active in the French Resistance. He was deported Aug. 3, 1943, to Buchenwald and murdered May 31, 1944, in Auschwitz. He was also used as a forced laborer at the Mittelbau-Dora Tunnel Complex.
