Memorial Szeged National Council

During the Aster Revolution that took place at the end of the First World War, there were rebellions of soldiers and civilians everywhere in Hungary, where it was demanded that Hungary was separating from Austria. This eventually led to the resignation of the Hungarian Government and King Charles IV on 31 October and the exclamation of the Democratic Republic of Hungary.
However, this Republic was also overthrown in March 1919 after the coup of the Communists.
The text means:
On October 22, 1918, the National Council of Szeged was founded in this house, the then Workers' House.
