This train station, also known as Breslauer Odertor, was used in the Second World War by the Germans like the station to transport prisoners of which origin to and from Breslau. Prisoners who came to Breslau arrived here and were spread from here over the city and surroundings to work in the various labor camps.
Jews were transported from here to the extermination camps.
Saliente details is that the platforms and the building as well as the pavement in front of the station is still the case as during the Second World War.
