Since 1988, the New Forest Heritage Centre has been a thriving hub where local residents and visitors can discover more about the New Forest, its history, its customs, its people, its wildlife and its future.
There is also a section dedicated to the First and Second World Wars.
The Centre has attractive galleries within the New Forest Museum.
The Gallery offers a constantly changing programme of exhibitions, including the work of local artists, and there is also an extensive reference library for visitors wishing to learn more about the natural and social history of the area.
The Centre is owned and managed by the New Forest Heritage Trust and admission is free.
For current visiting hours, please contact the museum.
