* ROSALIA ELISABETH BLOEMIST (born 1933, arrested 15-11-1943, deported 08-02-1944, from Westerbork, murdered 11-02-1944, Auschwitz).
* SARAH EVA VLEESCHHOUWER (born 1936, arrested 15-11-1943, deported 08-02-1944, from Westerbork, murdered 11-02-1944, Auschwitz).
* EMANUEL DE GROOT (born 1936, arrested 15-11-1943, deported 08-02-1944 from Westerbork, Theresienstadt, murdered 25-10-1944, Auschwitz).
* HERMAN RUDOLF ODEWALD (born 1933, arrested 15-11-1943, deported 08-02-1944, from Westerbork, murdered 11-02-1944, Auschwitz).

* LAMMERDINA ELISABETH HOLST (born 1887, arrested 15-11-1943, interned, murdered 15-01-1944, Vught).

These Stolpersteine lie here for Jewish war victims persecuted, deported and murdered in World War II. It concerns five children from an orphanage and the director. The director was murdered as a result of the bunker drama in Vught.

"Stolpersteine" is an art project for Europe by Gunter Demnig to commemorate victims of National Socialism (Nazism). Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) are small, 10x10cm brass plaques placed in the sidewalk in front of the last voluntary residence of (usually Jewish) victims of the Nazis. Each plaque is provided with the victim�s, date of birth, and fate. By doing this, Gunter Demnig gives an individual memorial to each victim. One stone, one name, one person. He cites the Talmud: one human being is forgotten only when his or her name is forgotten.
