Chapel Saint-Rahi Durbuy

In the 16th century, Mont Saint Rahy was a small village with 26 houses. It was abandoned due to an epidemic. The houses became ruins …
Currently, there is only a chapel, built during the First World War (1915).
It was built in honour of Saint-Rahi with the request for protection of the king and the Belgian soldiers in battle.

On the side of the facade is the inscription:
“SAINT-RAHI, PROTEGEZ NOTRE ROI ET NOS SOLDATS”
(“Saint-Rahi, protect our king and our soldiers”)
