Crash site Lancaster Mk.I DV308 SR-V 101 Sqn

The memorial for the Lancaster Mk.I DV308 SR-V 101 Sqn is located in the hamlet of Terre des Forges, Grandrieu. The aircraft crashed here on 2 January 1944. Four of the seven crew members were killed.
Plt Off Derrick Joseph Bell, Sgt Edward Henry Harris, Sgt HW Bailey survived the crash.
Sgt Lawrence Frazer Somers, Sgt George Christie Connon, F/O Frank Joseph Zubic, F/O William Edward Suddick were killed.
