Former Railway Station Bernières

This building is the former station of Bernières, located on the Caen seafront line.

This line, which connected the Caen Saint-Martin station to Courseulles, was opened in two stages: on June 30, 1875 between Caen and Luc and on August 31, 1876 to Courseulles. During the war, the line was used by the Germans and after the D-Day landings by the British.
