Memorial Perished Railway Worker Niort

This monument includes the names of 19 railway workers who were victims of WW2. Included are Resistants André Bernardeau, Eugène Gréau, Pierre Leroy, Alphonse Renaud, Raymond Paquet and Henri Sorin. The other names are those of railway workers killed by acts of war (machine-gunning of their trains and the bombing of the station on 7 June 1944).
