Devil Dog Fountain Belleau

On the grounds of the castle farm is "Devil Dog Fountain".
This fountain has developed into a myth for the US Marines.
There is no connection between the battle of Belleau Wood and this fountain, yet it has become a place of pilgrimage.
The owner of the castle farm sold Belleau Wood and the hunting grounds to the American government in 1923, so that it could be set up as a memorial.
