* HENNY SCHMUCKLER (born 1878, deported to Theresienstadt in 1943, murdered in Auschwitz in 1943)
* ROSA BLOCH (born Weil 1892, deported to Gurs in 1940, fled to Cuba in 1941, survivor)
* ERNST BLOCH (born 1888, without rights, died August 17, 1934)
* ERIKA BLOCH (born 1922, expelled from school in 1933, fled to the USA in 1936 via the Jewish Children's Aid Organization)
* ALICE BLOCH (born 1923, expelled from school in 1933, deported to Gurs in 1940, and escaped to Cuba with help in 1941)

These Stolpersteine are here for Jewish war victims, persecuted, deported, and murdered during World War II. Some were able to flee abroad in time and survived the war.

"Stolpersteine” is an art project for Europe by Gunter Demnig to commemorate victims of National Socialism (Nazism). Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) are small, 10x10cm brass plaques placed in the sidewalk in front of the last voluntary residence of (usually Jewish) victims of the Nazis. Each plaque is provided with the victim’s, date of birth, and fate. By doing this, Gunter Demnig gives an individual memorial to each victim. One stone, one name, one person. He cites the Talmud: “A human being is forgotten only when his or her name is forgotten.”
