German Air-Raid Shelter Kranj

In World War II, the Germans built several tunnels under the old part of Kranj city, to serve as an air-raid shelter during Allied air-strikes. The tunnels have a total length of 1300 meter and there are several entrances, including one in the middle of the centre.

The tunnels are still in good condition. Several times per week, guided tours are given.
