Command Post 2nd Division 22nd Artillery Regiment

During the day of May 11, 1940, the command post of the 2nd Division of the 22nd Artillery Regiment was set up in this farmhouse, Huize Oosterveld. The previous location proved to be too close to Brigade A's command post. Therefore, it was decided to relocate the post.

Barriers were erected around the farmhouse, shelters were constructed, and a position was dug for the ultra-short-wave radio control. Additional support for the cellar vault was installed in the farmhouse's cellar. The command post was also set up there.

This unit was commanded by Major J. Best.
