Bunker BM-35 Maizeret

This is bunker BM-37. The initials BM refer to ‘Bâtiment Militaire’, which translates to military building. The bunker is located in the ‘Meuse amont-Meuse aval’ sector. This bunker is located between Fort Maizeret and Fort Andoy in La Position Fortifiée de Namur (PFN).

It is a large type of bunker with two gun ports. One for a 47 mm anti-tank gun and one for a heavy machine gun. The horse in the opening of one of the gun ports shows how large these bunkers are.
