Monument Fallen Soviet Submariner

This monument commemorates the 237 crew members of the five Soviet submarines that sank off the Bulgarian coast during World War II.
The monument was designed by architect Alyosha Kafedzhiyski and is located at the site where the bodies of two crew members of a Soviet submarine were found in 1941: Violet Lamrentievich and Frol Dimitrovich Terehov, whose submarine had been destroyed by a sea mine.
