Lexington Ship Memorial

The five monuments, displayed adjacent to the Visitors Center, memorialize each of the five Navy ships named the U.S.S. Lexington. They were installed in 1988 under the joint cooperation of the crews of the CV2 and CV16 and the Lexington Lions Club.
