War Memorial Jeneffe

The war memorial in Jeneffe commemorates one military and one civilian victim of the First World War.

“TO OUR NOBLE CHILDREN / THE MUNICIPALITY GRATITUDE / 1914 - 1918”
Joseph VERDIN, soldier 1st Grenadier Regiment, Rotselaar 12 September 1914
Eugène Joseph ELOY, deportee died in Germany on 21 April 1917.

To commemorate the Centenary of Belgian Independence (1830 - 1930), memorials were added on the left and right with the names of the veterans and deportees of the First World War.
