Memorial Camp Engerhafe

From October to December 1944, there was on this location a satellite camp of Neuengamme concentration camp. Camp Engerhafe was used for about 2000 inmates. In the few months the camp existed,about 200 inmates died.

The inmated were mainly used for digging anti-tank ditches in this area.
