Inscriptions on the monument (translation):
“THE / CITY / OF GEMBLOUX / TO / HER GLORIOUS CHILDREN / WHO DIED / FOR THE FATHERLAND / 1914 - 1918 / 1940 - 1945”
Inscriptions on the shield (translation):
“HONOUR
COURAGE”
A plaque indicates that the monument has been extended with the names of the victims of 1940 - 1945.
