Memorial to the Executed Civilians 5 September 1944,
BOIGELOT Robert, Fernand HALLAUX, Camille MATERNE, Alphonse SCHLIT, Théophile RAPS and Jean CHARLES) were shot by the Germans on 5 September 1944 on the pretext of being members of the Resistance. However, they were unarmed and wore no distinguishing marks, only Robert BOIGELOT was in possession of a tricolour flag.
