Orientation Table Battle of Gembloux 12 to 16 May 1940

Orientation table presented to the city of Gembloux by the Franco-Belgian Committee to commemorate the Battle of Gembloux from 12 to 16 May 1940.
The orientation table shows the positions of the various army units on 14 May 1940.
The French troops, under the command of General Prioux, managed to repulse the Germans and delay their advance by at least a day. This battle was the only victory of French tanks over the German army.
