Plaque resistance action September 6, 1944

With this plaque, the city of Nevers commemorates that on September 6, 1944, members of the Maquis Mariaux resistance group (Homére group) Emile Buteau, Henri Guy, and Marcel Line, together with the Nevers fire brigade, succeeded in clearing the bridge despite the German presence.
