Memorial Erik Perwe

This memorial at the church of Hedvig (also known as the German church) in Norrköping commemorates Erik Perwe, who was the Swedish vicar in Berlin and who saves hundreds of persecuted, mainly Jews, in World War II. For this, he was award by Yad Vashem as Righteous among the Nations.

Erik Perwe died in 1944 when his plane was shot down on its way to Sweden.
