These brass memorial plaques (Stolpersteine or stumbling stones) commemorate:

* SALOMON DE JONG (born 1897, interned 29-09-1943, deported 15-02-1944, from Westerbork, Bergen-Belsen, succumbed 28-04-1945 Tröbitz).
* LEIE LOTTE DE JONG-LUSTIG (born 1899, interned 29-09-1943, deported 15-02-1944, from Westerbork, Bergen-Belsen,Tröbitz, survived).
* MIRJAM DE JONG (born 1924, in hiding, Amsterdam, Haarlem. Heemstede, survived).
* DAVID DE JONG (born 1926, interned 29-09-1943, deported 16-02-1944, from Westerbork, Bergen-Belsen, succumbed 30-04-1945, Tröbitz).
* LEO DE JONG (born 1930, nterned 29-09-1943, deported 16-02-1944, from Westerbork, Bergen-Belsen, Tröbitz, survived).

The following victims were also in hiding in the house:

* ILSE HERMANN (born 1922, interneerd, deported 16-07-1942, from Westerbork, murdered 30-09-1942, Auschwitz).
* EVA PAULA COHN (born1930, fled 1939, from Bad Ems, in hiding, survived).
* MIRJAM GABRIELLE COHN (born1934, fled 1939, from Bad Ems, in hiding, survived).
* MORITZ WEISBERGER (born 1869, fled 1933, from Mannheim, interned 16-03-1943, deported 23-03-1943, from Westerbork, murdered 26-03-1943, Sobibor).
* CHANE WEISBERGER-WASSERSTROM (born 1873, fled 1933, from Mannheim, interned 16-03-1943, deported 23-03-1943, from Westerbork, murdered 26-03-1943, Sobibor).
* RONNIE CATS (born 1924, interned 17-07-1942, deported 21-07-1942, from Westerbork, murdered 30-09-1942, Auschwitz).

These Stolpersteine lie here for Jewish war victims persecuted, deported and murdered in World War II.

"Stolpersteine" is an art project for Europe by Gunter Demnig to commemorate victims of National Socialism (Nazism). Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) are small, 10x10cm brass plaques placed in the sidewalk in front of the last voluntary residence of (usually Jewish) victims of the Nazis. Each plaque is provided with the victim�s, date of birth, and fate. By doing this, Gunter Demnig gives an individual memorial to each victim. One stone, one name, one person. He cites the Talmud: one human being is forgotten only when his or her name is forgotten.
