Memorial Corner Kempenich

Inside the church of Kempenich, a memorial corner has been set up with a cross bearing the body of Jesus on the wall. On both sides hang wooden crosses bearing the names and dates of death of victims of both World Wars. There are 237 crosses in total. Fifty-two crosses are for victims of the First World War, including six missing persons. One hundred eighty-four crosses are for victims of the Second World War, 52 of whom are missing persons.
