War Memorial St. Katharinen

Next to St. Katharina church stands this memorial in the form of a small temple. It commemorates the victims from the villages of Lorscheid and Notscheid. It lists 116 names of victims of the Second World War, 64 of whom are reported missing. It also lists 53 names of victims of the First World War and 19 names of soldiers who died during the Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871).
