War Memorial Hönningen

This memorial, located right at the entrance to the cemetery in Hönningen, commemorates the victims of both World Wars. On the left and right are two basalt lava slabs engraved with the names of the victims. On the steps in front of the memorial lie thirteen stones bearing the names of victims who died during a bombing raid on January 27, 1945.
