French War Graves and Memorial Le Transloy

The Le Transloy cemetery contains a common grave containing 792 French soldiers who were killed between August 28 and September 26, 1914. Nearly 700 of them served in the 338e régiment d'infanterie. Marble panels bearing the names of all those killed were later installed. The individual plaques on the wall were placed there by relatives of the soldiers.
