Mermorial August 26, 1944 Bois Givard

This memorial along the D438 in Bois Givard commemorates the Canadians who died here on August 26, 1944, in the battle against the Germans.

Their names are:Gillis, Hughson, Calder, Shannon, McCallister, Storzuk, Paul Joseph, Henri Elliot, Dunn and James Brown.

The monument is an initiative of the villages of Bosguerard, Berville, and Boissey.
