Collective Grave Marked 6 Augustus 1870

Existing mass grave in Woerth, containing the remains of an unknown number of French and German soldiers,
who were involved in the Battle of Woerth-Froeschwiller.
The grave consists of a cast-iron cross, bearing the headstone of petty officer Karl Haberlandt.

A total of 320 French and German soldiers from the 1870/71 war, are believed to be buried in the cemetery in Woerth.
