Reinden Woods, Hawkinge

Reinden Woods was used as a dispersed sire for RAF Hawkinge and a whole military camp was built under the cover of the trees during WW2. Whilst the wooden buildings were removed after WW2, the concrete above ground bomb shelters remain. The area is still used by the MOD for infantry dry training.
