Memorial HMY Iolaire
This memorial at the Kyle of Lochalsh Railway Station commemorates the sinking of HMY Iolaire – which departed from here, on 1 January 1919, in which 201 people perished. The mayority were servicemen from the island on their way home after the eind of the First World War.
