Memorial and Remains Camp Loibl

Camp Loibl was a satellite camp of Mauthausen concentration camp and existed from March 1943 to April 1945. About 1800 inmates had to dug a tunnel through the Karawanken, between Slovenia and Austria. About 40 inmates died. There were camps on both sides of the tunnel. On both locations are now memorials and remains.
