War Memorial Vichy

This large memorial commemorates the residents of Vichy who died in the First and Second World War and the wars in Indochina (1946-1954) and Algeria (1954-1962).

At the back of the large war memorial is a stone with text about the war in Algeria and the struggle in Morocco and Tunisia.

The text reads (translated):

IN MEMORY
MILITARY AND CIVILIAN VICTIMS
FROM THE WAR IN ALGERIA
AND THE FIGHTS IN TUNISIA AND MOROCCO
