V2 Launch Location Gouvy
On September 8, 1944 at 11:00 in the morning, the first V2 rocket was launched from this location. The target of this missile was Paris. The V2 crashed in Maisons-Alfort, just before Paris, six people were killed and 36 were wounded. This sign commemorates this launch.
