Commonwealth War Graves Diever

Diever General Cemetery contains the graves of one British and six Canadian crew members of the Halifax bomber that crashed near the Oude Willem in Diever on 22 November 1943.

They are:

Sgt. George Alexander Howitson, RCAF, 21 years
W/O Cl.II Joseph Alexander Lesage, RCAF, 22 years
Sgt. George Alexander May, RCAF, 19 years
Sgt. Wilbert Blare Jones. RAF, 18 years
