Maginot Line - Fort Sainte-Agnès

The Maginot-Fortress Anzeling was a component of the Secteur Fortifié des Alpes-Maritimes. The garrison consisted of 310 men and 8 officers from the 58th DBAF. It fired 1201 75mm grenades, 80 81mm grenades and 234 135mm grenades on Italian positions in June 1940. Fort Sainte-Agnès is currently in use as museum.
