Commonwealth War Graves Les Souhesmes-Rampont

On the General Cemetery in Les Souhesmes-Rampont are seven Commonwealth war graves. These are the graves of Sgt E.T. Beney, F/S F.W.R. Cole, P/O L.G. Gosper, P/O H. Harwood, F/S W.P. Hudson, F/L C.L. Selman and F/L J.P. Trench.
On 8 March 1943 at 19:08 departed from Oakington airbase, the Stirling R9270 with the mission a raid over the city of Nuremberg (Nürnberg) in Germany. For unknown reasons it crashed in Les Souhesmes-Rampont. In the crash all crew members got killed, they are buried in this cemetery.
